Because in 3 days I will be going to New York, and I know many other people will be going on a big flight too. I thought it was fair enough I would make a post on my must-have flight essentials! My flight essentials consist of 10 things I will need on the flight to New York. So here they are...
1. My first flight essential is a tracksuit. The particular one I have chosen here is a Navy Blue Juicy Couture tracksuit. I have been wanting one of these for so long and might be getting my hands on one in New York. Tracksuits or fat pants/anything comfortable I think is ESSENTIAL on a flight as you don't want to be uncomfortable on a flight nearing to 15 hours long.
2. My next essential is a bag. A bag is a vital thing on a flight as you can carry everything you may need during the time you have on there. I prefer a bag slightly bigger than the average size. This is so you can fit lots of things in it whether it be one big item, or several small.
3. The next item is a personal one. Airwaves are a essential on flights for me. Usually on a plane I will get incredibly painful ears due to the pressure etc. I find airwaves help soothe the pain because the unclog my nose and ears. The don't cure it 100%, but they sure do help.
4.The next must-have is a pack of Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. Facial wipes, such as these, are good to get rid of any excess oil on your skin. You probably won't have time to have a shower at the airport or they might not even provide them so the wipes help to refresh and cleanse your face.
5. The next item is probably the most important must-have on a flight. It's my phone! My phone is like my first child. It is my baby. I take my phone with me everywhere so it is obvious I will be needing this. If there is some amazing landscape I just HAVE to take a photo of on my flight, my phone will be there. If I get bored watching movies, I can play a game on my phone. My phone is essential and is definitely something I will be taking with me.
6. If I get sore eyes from looking at a screen the whole time, a magazine is a good alternative. On your flight it is a good idea to take your preferable choice of magazine to read if your getting bored of watching movies the whole time. My preferred magazine is Teen Vogue. I have quite the stash of Teen Vogue so I will be taking my favourite issues to read during the flight.
7. Usually on a plane, your feet can get quite cold (well mine do), so it is a good option to wear ugg boots. There are many fantastic brands that sell ugg boots such as Ugg Australia or you can even get a cheap pair from your nearest "bargain barn" as I like to call it aka. the Warehouse or Farmers (only in New Zealand).
8. The next essential is my MacBook Pro. Another great option to save you from boredom is a laptop. Whether you have one or not, laptops can be great if you wanna work or play a game, (my preferred is the Sims 3 hehe). I may use my laptop on the plane to draft some blog posts or whatever I feel like.
9. Previously when I went to a different country, my Grandparents had given my siblings and I a little notebook/travel journal to write down what we had been up to on our trip. I find travel journals really fun to write in as you can document your journey. Another way to use this item is if you want to note down anything you like or see and want to write the name of it down so you don't forget it e.g. a store. You will also need a pen to write with and I would recommend taking your favourite one as you will be using it a lot.
10. The last, but not least must-have in this list is my Marc Jacobs wallet! The wallet shown in the picture isn't the exact but the one I own is very similar. A wallet is a very important thing to take on a trip as you will need to keep your money safe and in a place where it won't move around too much. I prefer the big (ish) size wallet like the one shown in the picture because you can fit a lot more in than a small one.
Hope this gives you some ideas on what to take with you on your flight and thanks guys
Xx
